Grenadiers

The intention with “Grenadiers” is to create an Arena FPS multiplayer experience that uses no guns, and only grenades as the source of damage against other players. Our goal is to create an experience that has an extremely low barrier to entry, and a very high ceiling of mastery using a style of combat that is most often used as a secondary mechanic. It is intended to be an Arena FPS in terms of player movement patterns and base level design. Where the game differs from the typical of Arena FPS is the lack of weapon pickups on the map, the creation of a loadout pre-match, and the use of guns as the primary damage method. A good amount of Arena FPS games will place players in a team based setting, however Grenadiers is genre-focused more towards those with a free-for-all experience.
